For more than 40 years, Camp Apple has been providing summers full of learning & fun for children with and without special
needs. Camp Apple Summer Day Camp provides a structured summer day camp experience for children, four through
eighteen years of age, who have intellectual, physical or sensory disabilities along with their siblings.
During the months of June, July and August, Camp Apple is scheduled for two or three weeks in each month. Camp starts at
9:30 AM and runs until 2:30 PM. Children participate in day camp activities including music, outdoor discovery, crafts, adapted
games and sports, cooking, money management, personal safety, volunteerism and friendship building. This year we are also
holding Saturday dates in March, April, and May.
The Camp Apple Summer Day Camp is funded by the United Way of Butler County, fundraisers, and private donations. The
program is provided free of charge to eligible children.
