A Nutritional assessment may be appropriate for your child if his/her weight and growth are not consistent; or if there is a medical diagnosis, such as Cerebral Palsy (CP), Cystic Fibrosis, or Down’s Syndrome that will interfere with food intake.
A Registered Dietitian is a food and nutrition expert who has studied diet and nutrition at an American Dietetic Association (ADA), has completed an approved college program and passed an exam to become registered.
Our Registered Dietician will focus on your child’s nutritional requirements to insure adequate growth and development. Weight and growth will be monitored using pediatric growth charts. She will provide information on your child’s particular nutritional needs, as well as recipes and suggestions to help meet those needs.
